Hellooooooo from sunny Dakar , Senegal!! Nangendef??

Just dropping in to say hi to everyone on this forum and to introduce ourselves. We run small family business online from our home in Dakar selling the finest quality west african instruments. Some of you here may even know us !!! For those that don't check out http://www.skinsandstrings.com to see and hear what we're all about. Into our second year as Senegal's first online instrument store , we have had a rewarding experience in creating the business and developing sustainable relaitonships with some very fine drum and instrument makers. We are able to buy in bulk above the local market rate thus ensuring improved income for our suppliers and the finest possible quality for our customers. We also work had in collaboration with a local NGO's reforestation project to ensure that the trees are planted every time a drum sells. We have also pioneered selling on ebay from Africa and achieved a 100% positive feed back rating since we started last August with some glowing praise of both our instruments and customer service.
Starting next year we will be offering drumming holidays for groups and individuals with some of Dakars finest exponents of the djembe, doun , sabar and tamar as well as kora and balafon.

In short you're all very welcome to drop by and check us out at http://www.skinsandstrings.com !!!!!!

Thanks to James for running this forum and letting us spread the word

Peace and respect
Nick and Fatou

Hello,

Dakar is very close of my heart. I spent two months in sunny and hot Senegal, mainly in Dakar, last winter. I am very lucky that I have possibility to go there again in coming winter. As a matter of fact after three months :) and see my senegalese friends after ten long months.
