Come to Mali next January!

Hey all,

I am excited to announce that we have the dates for my teacher's drum and dance workshop in Bamako, Mali. This is going to be a two week program with three classes a day during the week, plus lots of social events so we can see Bamako style drumming in action. On the weekend, we'll check out the surrounding countryside and see what village life in Mali is all about.

SIdy Maiga is a wonderful performer and a gifted teacher. It is going to be a great couple of weeks.

We'll be comfortably accommodated in a new house in Bamako. Food, lodging and ground transportation are included in the fee of $2200.

Thank you! You don't have 2009 as an option, yet... but when you put it up, I will certainly list the Bamako workshop there.
